Main Wishlist

Building:
We are currently seeking to raise USD430,000.00 to build a new medical centre/dental clinic and  later a new orphanage to further support the care of disadvantaged children in Bali.

Vehicle:
25 seater bus.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to move the children around as a group.  We have to use 3 or 4 vehicles and often do not have enough drivers.  A Hino mid size bus is around USD30,000.00 or AUD35,000.00.  We also need to replace an aging vehicle for servicing orphanages, hospital visits, collection of donations and other work. This would cost around AUD$12,000.00 or USD10,000.00 for a good second hand vehicle.

Staff:
We need more Nurses and one Nurse will cost our Foundation around USD3,000.00 per year.  The benefits of providing a Nurse cannot be measured in monetary terms.  Needless to say so many children can benefit from the skills a Nurse can offer.

Computers:
We are setting up a computer school for our children in full time care.  We only have 2 computers for 20 children and need 10 computers to run an effective class.  Please do not attempt to bring computers into Indonesia!  Customs is a real issue when it comes to computers.  We can buy a good computer here for around USD500.00 per unit.  So we need USD5,000.00 to establish a good network for our teacher and children. ** Three already donated so another 7 to go! *

Clothing:
Boys and girls summer clothing for ages 2 to 18. Maximum size small mens or girls 8. No mini skirts or revealing tops for girls please. No second hand shoes please for health reasons.  As of 01 February 2010 we especially need teenage boys clothing ages 14 to 19.  No bigger than 29 inch waist or 16 shirt/t shirt.   Due health reasons we cannot accept second hand footwear.  New only sorry.

Toiletries:
Shampoo, liquid antiseptic soap, antiseptic soap, toothpaste, soft toothbrushes, sanitary pads (no tampons), cotton buds, cotton wool balls, Hair lice treatment. Deodorant & Hair gel for our teenage kids.  Kleenex tissue. For health reasons all items must be new.

Toys:
Educational toys such as Lego, Fisher Price or fun toys like Barbie, Spiderman etc, which can be easily washed. No soft/knitted toys, teddy bears please for health reasons.  Jigsaw’s are good for our unwell children.

Linen:

Towels, pillowcases, single bed sheets and light cotton blankets.

Medicine:

Food supplement (vitamin)
Vitamins tablet for kids and adults (Ultravit, Fitkom, Becom C), Vitamin syrup for kids (Huvafit, Hufalysin), Sangobion tablet and syrup, Vitamin E Eviron), Vitamin A, Calcium.
